Wet hair oiling – version for the impatient

If you like oiling hair treatment but you don’t like the application which has to be precise and thus can be quite troublesome – you can try out oiling hair in a bowl. This method is described below.

Oiling in a bowl doesn’t require precise applying of the oil to the scalp. Diluted oil quickly and effectively penetrates into all hair and covers the scalp. The application is fast and comfortable.

You must take a bowl, fill it with milk, add a few drops of a chosen oil and dip your hair in the mixture.

Instead of milk, you can use boilt water or mixture of herbs. Choose herbs that are known for their nourishing and conditioning properties. They will enhance the action of the oil. Such herbs include: nettle, horsetail and camomile. If you have aloe vera extract, you can also add it to the mixture.

Oiling is very easy to perform. You dip your hair in the bowl with the oily mixture and gently pour the strands so that they are evenly covered. Remember about the scalp which has to be covered with the mixture as well.

The next step is wrapping the hair with a towel – the mixture must stay on hair for some time – from 20 minutes to one hour. Then, wash your hair with a delicate shampoo and apply your favourite conditioner.

If your hair is very damaged and needs special care, you can pour the mixture of herbs and oil into an atomiser bottle and spray the hair during the day. You will provide the strands with optimal protection from damage and unfavourable external factors (frost, strong wind, sunbeams). Be careful! The option with atomiser bottle shouldn’t be used for spraying the scalp. It would weigh the hair down. Good luck!
